Arts and Culture
Yearly downtown Sydney will be illuminated with people, events and concerts. Our events cover a wide range of areas including sports, culture, music and community. Of the 70 plus events included in festival the Sydney Habour Front Festival Society will be presenting 15 events. Action week is presented by the non-profit society Sydney Habour Front Festival and is managed by the society board of directors. All members of the board of directors are volunteers.

This festival is for the community and is supported by the community. 85% of the activities presented by the society are free of charge to the public, providing everyone an opportunity for a cost-conscious “staycation”.

Strategic Planning: Collaborating with fellow board members to develop and execute strategic plans for the boxing ring, aligning with the club's long-term goals.
Financial Oversight: Contributing to the financial stability and growth of the organization by reviewing budgets, financial reports, and fundraising…As a dedicated board member at Ring 73, I have played a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission and ensuring its success. My responsibilities have included:

Community Engagement: Actively engaging with the local community, promoting events, and establishing partnerships to increase the club's visibility and support.
Governance and Compliance: Ensuring that the boxing ring operates in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as bylaws and policies.
Talent Development: Supporting the growth and development of boxers and coaching staff, facilitating training and mentorship opportunities.
Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of boxing matches, tournaments, and related events.
Fundraising and Sponsorship: Identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities, including sponsorships and grants to secure resources for the club.
Advocacy: Advocating for the sport of boxing and the benefits it brings to the community, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. -
